The idea of “THE QUIRKY K9 CO” came about by accident when she couldn’t find designs that she liked in leads, collars, bandanas and bow ties for us all, or she couldn’t get all of our sizes in the designs that she wanted, so she began to just make them for us. This led to us getting lots of attention on our walks and people asking her to make the same for them. My mum did them for free to start with to ensure the quality was there and that people liked them and to test the waters to see if there was a market for them. Once this was established she started to add other lines to the business and branched out into making things for humans too. She now makes too many things to list but her most popular items are our dog items and after that are hair accessories, mugs, keyrings, compact mirrors, seasonal decorations, Cake toppers for dogs and humans, other celebration items and bags.
